Skies will gradually clear overnight as lows fall to the upper 30s and lower 40s. Sunday promises to be brighter, although a bit breezy at times. Highs jump to the upper 40s to near 50 degrees by afternoon with gusts around 20 miles per hour. Overall, not bad for January.

Back to work, back to school Monday – no delays! Highs will jump to the lower 50s with increasing cloudiness by afternoon. A cold front will approach the mid-Atlantic late Monday night along with a few showers. Slightly cooler air arrives Tuesday with a reinforcing shot Wednesday.

It is possible wintry weather may impact parts of the ABC 7 News viewing area on Wednesday. This is still quite a ways out, but worth watching over the coming days.
