An interesting week ahead with lots of ups and downs and a few weak systems to bring chances of rain and snow.  We start off with with high pressure off the coast and a cold front to our West. These two will work to bring southerly winds and mild temperatures today. Clouds will also be increasing this afternoon, but the rain holds off until after the midnight hour.  Best chance of rain when we wake up as shown in our ABC7 Futurecast.

Computer Model Forecast for Tuesday, Jan 14th.

Rain should end by the afternoon on Tuesday with partial clearing late day.  The temperatures will cool down behind the front and then a series of of fast moving cold fronts will cross through the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic.  Rain and Snow will be possible on Wednesday with little to no accumulation and then again a chance of light snow late Friday.  Stay with ABC7 for updates as we fine tune the mid-late week forecast.
