A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect over areas northwest of D.C. from 10pm tonight through 10am Saturday.

This Afternoon:
Plenty of Sunshine
Highs: Around 50
Wind: W 5-15 m.p.h.
Cloudy, Light Rain and Snow Showers
Lows: 30s
Wind: N 5-15 m.p.h.
Morning Snow, then Partly Sunny and Blustery
Highs: Mid 30s
Wind: N 10-20+ m.p.h.

Feeling like spring today considering the weather we have experienced the last 24 hours. Temperatures today will rise through the 40s with some areas nearing 50 degrees! Sunshine in the morning and early afternoon hours but clouds will be on the increase through the day as a piece of energy floats through the TN valley later tonight. That will bring some snow/rain to the region late this evening, continuing into the overnight hours and the first part of tomorrow. Some minor snow accumulations possible (see blog write up) through early tomorrow afternoon. The winds will pick up tomorrow afternoon and wind chills will drop into the 20s with air temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. By Sunday, temperatures stick in the mid 30s with a chance of some brief light snow showers or a possible flurry.
