As the high pressure centers moves out overnight, some cloudiness will move in before sunrise. An upper level system will pass over the mid-Atlantic states tomorrow providing the chance for a few snow showers or even some rain mixed in. The air is very dry and the system will only crank out a little moisture. Not much of an impact is expected.
Late tomorrow night and Wednesday, an area of low pressure is forecast to form over eastern NC. This system will be heading out to sea but may provide a few periods of light snow…and again some rain may be mixed in spots. Once again, a low impact event with snow accumulations of one inch or less anticipated. Clearing skies are forecast later Wednesday. High pressure will bring partly to mostly sunny and cold weather back to the area for Thursday and Friday.
