Once again the day will start out with sunshine but clouds will be on the increase by afternoon ahead of our next system. Chilly 30s will be the order of the day. A frontal system will lift northward overnight and could overspread the region with some light snow. There could be a mix with some freezing rain or rain towards dawn as temperatures rise in the metro. However minor accumulations are possible, especially north and west of town where there *could* be some early slick spots. Warmer air moves in through the day and by afternoon the mercury soars to near 50° as sun returns. The remainder of the week will feature a milder pattern with 50s likely Wednesday and Thursday…maybe even 60s by Friday but with the threat of rain. Be safe and have a great day!
