A nice break in the action the next few days.

This Afternoon:
Partly Sunny and Cool
Highs: Mid to Upper 30s
Wind: Diminishing, NNW 6-12
Mostly Cloudy
Lows: Mid 20s
Wind: Light and Variable
Mix of Sun and Clouds
Highs: Near 40
Wind: Light and Variable

Calm conditions are expected today as many of us clean up from yesterday's ice storm. As of this writing there are still 75 thousand people in Maryland without power.  Temperatures started below freezing, so some slick spots are expected.

Morning Lows

We will be slow to warm this afternoon with a fair amount of cloud cover. With high pressure controlling our conditions, tomorrow should be a near repeat of today. As we head into the weekend, it looks like the chances of anything big are gone.  Just a few snow showers on Saturday afternoon and then again on Sunday.  At this moment, i don't expect more than a dusting.. of course we'll update you tomorrow as it gets closer.  Temperatures stay cooler than average for the duration.
