The snow is out of here and now the sunshine will reign! We generally received preliminary reports anywhere from a dusting up to POSSIBLY 3" in spots, but for the most part-locations around the region received 1.00" - 2.00" of snow accumulation.

ZZZZZ

Winds however will pick up out of the north and west, rolling at about 10-15 mph with some higher gusts. This of course means wind chills that will be in the mid teens to the mid 20s depending on your location. Air temperatures today will be in the lower to mid 30s. Still clear and cold overnight with temperatures in the teens and low 20s around the cities! Obviously this will make for a chilly morning. High pressure continues to build into the region tomorrow bringing more blustery winds. Plenty of sunshine Thursday with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s (but of course wind chill values in the 20s). Calm, cold and quiet on Friday with sunshine, light winds and temperatures not getting out of the 20s. Grab that hand lotion and chap stick, you are going to need it with a very dry airmass over the region. A weak disturbance will pass through on Saturday and that could bring a chance for some flurries/sprinkles to the region. Keeping our eyes on a system for Sunday night and through the day on Monday that could possibly bring a wintry mix to the region.
