Text size Decrease Increase

A break in the action midday, but a second shot at a few inches this evening.

This Afternoon:
Mostly Cloudy, Light Rain/Snow Late
Temperatures: low to mid 30s
Snow: Additional 1-2" Possible Eve
Tonight:
Evening Snow Showers, Clearing Overnight
Lows: mid to upper 20s
Wind: W 10-20
Friday:
Morning sun, afternoon clouds
Highs: Upper 30s
Wind: SW 5-10

A nice break in the action as dry air works its way into the area.  Snow, sleet and rain has diminished significantly.  For more information on updated snowfall totals, head to our live blog on storm coverage.  As our coastal storm lifts northward and exits the region, colder air and some moisture on the back side could bring another "burst" of snow late this afternoon and evening.  There is the "potential" for another few inches of snow, but I'm not sold on it, to be honest.  After midnight, skies will clear out and we will drop into mid to upper 20s.  Friday starts with sunshine, but will gradually start to get filtered with high clouds moving in ahead of another cold front.  Snow and/or rain showers are expected Friday night into Saturday morning.  But, a walk in the park compared to today.
