Look for a mostly sunny, breezy, & mild start to the weekend with highs today in the 60s.  But a chillier Sunday will bring readings in the 40s, rain, and then late day snow.

This Afternoon:
Mostly Sunny, Breezy, & Mild
Highs: 60-65
Wind: W 15-20/G 30 mph
Tonight:
Partly Cloudy & Colder
Lows: 34-40
Wind: NW 5-10 mph
Sunday:
Mostly Cloudy, PM Rain, Late Snow
Highs: 40-45
Rain: 50% Chance

Say it isn't snow!  On this cusp of Spring, it is likely the Washington area will see yet more snow before the weekend is out.  While no Winter Weather advisories have been issued as yet, the return of colder air, a low pressure center and a stalled front to our south could once again combine to give us wintry precipitation.  Rain starting late on Sunday is expected to change to snow in the overnight hours.  Accumulating snow by Monday morning could make for driving difficulties and delays.

Until our wintry reboot, we will enjoy a very pleasant Saturday with skies turning mostly sunny and temperatures in the low 60s.  It will also be a breezy day today as a cold front passes through and westerly winds gust up to 30 mph.  Clouds return overnight along with chillier readings in the 30s.  Sunday will feature mostly cloudy skies and highs only in the low to mid 40s.

After a bit of white on St. Patrick's Day, our luck will begin to change.  While Tuesday will still be quite chilly, temperatures will head back to the 50s by Thursday which is the official start of astronomical Spring.
