Showers accompanied the cold front as it crossed our area today. We will remain rather cloudy but will have a lull in the rain until tomorrow morningwhen we come under the influence of a developing area of low pressure that is currently over Tennessee.
This system will SLOWLY move east northeastward over the next 48 hours. It will produce a lot of rain along the way. Rainfall totals of 2 inches may be commonplace by the time the rain ends late Sunday morning. As the system finally moves off the coast, very gusty winds will develop out of the NW Sunday afternoon. There may be some sunshine developing later Sunday afternoon, as well.
Weather conditions will improve dramatically on Monday with sunshine and temperatures climbing into the 60s. Now get ready for this…on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday temperatures will climb close to 70 degrees under mostly to eventually, partly cloudy skies.
