A string of warm days ahead before more cold air moves back into the region.

Tonight:
Clear Skies
Temperatures: 33 - 38
Wind: W 5-10 mph
Tomorrow Morning:
Sunshine but Chilly
Temperatures: 36-40
Wind: W 5-10 mph
Tomorrow Afternoon:
Increasing Clouds
Temperatures: 56-65
Wind: W 5-10 mph

The sunshine and warmer temperatures developed, as promised. That combination, along with gusty breezes helped to melt remaining snow piles and begin the process of drying the wet and muddy soil. Skies will remain clear tonight and the gusty breezes will slowly subside. Another beautiful day is forecast tomorrow with the leading edge of a warmer air mass getting closer to the region. On Saturday, we will finally enjoy a brief push of warmer air just ahead of the next cold front. We expect Saturday to be partly sunny and very mild with highs at least into middle 60s…if not a bit higher in spots. A cold front will cross the area later Saturday with a passing sprinkle possible. Colder weather will return on Sunday with clouds and showers. A few wet flakes could mix in as temperatures fall off. Sunny and cold weather in place on Monday. And then on Tuesday, medium range computer models continue to show a storm system taking shape of the Florida coast and moving northeast along the East Coast. My best guess and that is all ANYONE can do 5 days out…is that it could bring some light snow to the metro area.
