Washington D.C. Forecast: Wind Advisory In Effect

Much colder with sustained strong winds continuing overnight.

Wind: NW 20-30 gusting to 55 m.p.h.
Thursday:
Partly Cloudy, Windy and Cold
Highs: Upper 30s
Wind: NW 20-30 gusting to 50 m.p.h.
Friday:
Partly Cloudy, Mild
Highs: Mid 50s
Wind: SW 5-10 m.p.h.

A WIND ADVISORY is in effect for the entire area 11 am tomorrow morning….strong northwesterly are developing and may gust at times to speeds close to 50 mph!

 Temperatures will plummet tonight from highs this afternoon in the upper 60s….to air temperatures in the 20s late tonight and overnight. Tomorrow will be dramatically colder than today…highs will only be in the 30s with continuing strong winds that will keep wind chills in the 20s…at best. A rapid warm-up is in store Friday with temperatures forecast back into the middle 50s.
