A cold and damp air mass continues to hang tough through the mid-Atlantic states. Skies will remain cloudy with a few areas of light rain or drizzle possible tonight until a cold front crosses the region. Behind the front, it will become breezy with some clearing before sunrise Thursday.

During the day tomorrow it will become mostly sunny and temperatures will climb into the upper 50s. Those temperatures sound warm but they are the average high temperatures we experience here at this time in march. Pleasant weather will continue on Friday with partly cloudy skies and highs around 60 degrees.
