Although we have rain and cloudy skies in the forecast, all in all, not too shabby for today! Temperatures will near that 60 degree mark today as a breezy southwest flow moves over the region. Rain showers will become more spotty in nature as we head into the afternoon hours. By this evening, expect some if not most areas to be rain free, however, as we continue into the weekend, more rain is on the way. A cold front that will approach the area today will stall to the south of the region overnight tonight. An area of low pressure will ride along the front tomorrow, strengthening as it travels, bringing rain showers with it. Expect rain to overspread the area tomorrow morning, picking up in intensity through the afternoon and evening hours. Some thunderstorms and/or localized heavy downpours can't be ruled out. We could get a pretty good soaking of rain in some locations. Wind won't quite be as breezy for your Saturday but will pick up again on Sunday. Rain showers linger into Sunday morning. Temperatures for the weekend will remain in the low to mid 50s. By Monday, the winds die down and temperatures shoot up into the lower 60s with sunshine! Tuesday and Wednesday look even better (despite a few more clouds) with temperatures around 70 degrees. Rain showers come back by Thursday but we are still looking mild.
