Spring officially arrived 12:57p.m. today and just like clockwork it will finally feel just as it should.  More on the vernal equinox in Eileen's blog today.

Plenty of sunshine expected today! The average high temperature for Spring, Day 1 is 57 degrees and temperatures should be able to match if not surpass that. Tomorrow, a few more clouds will be in place so temperatures may stop short of today’s highs, right around 60 degrees. By Saturday, the temperature shoots to around 70 degrees with partly sunny skies. A slight chance of a stray shower on Saturday as a cold front passes the region. That cold front will stall and an area of low pressure will ride along it from the southwest, possibly brushing the area with some showers on Sunday. Sunday’s temperature will only rise to around 50 degrees. Daytime highs continue to drop off after that falling into the lower 40s for Monday and Tuesday. We are still watching the potential for a coastal storm to impact our region on Tuesday. The possibility is there for wintery weather, but not a sure thing just yet, as the storm may stay far enough offshore. We'll keep an eye on it.
