Skies will stay mainly clear overnight as temperatures will fall to the upper 30s and middle 40s. Look for bright sunshine Tuesday morning as temperatures quickly rebound to the middle and upper 60s. Clouds will begin to increase during the evening hours ahead of our next potent weather maker.

An area of low pressure will move across the mid-Atlantic Wednesday bringing periods of rain and possible thunderstorms. Highs will jump to the 60s, but quickly fall during the afternoon and evening hours. If enough cold air overspreads the region, a few pockets of snow may develop. Thursday will be much colder with highs only in the middle to upper 30s.

Temperatures will make a quick recovery into the 50s by the upcoming weekend.
