After a chilly, chilly Thursday, high pressure moves off the Atlantic coast and brings in warmer southerly breezes today.

This Afternoon

Temperatures will end up around or just above the seasonal average today, in the upper 50s.  A weak disturbance overhead brought clouds to start the day, but that will be short-lived with sunshine winning out today.  A cold front will move through Saturday, but it should be a dry passage and we will stay mild.

Things change on Sunday as we get wedged in with high pressure to the north and low pressure approaching from the southwest.  The details still need to be worked out this far in advance, but it's looking more likely that we will have some wintry weather.

Late day Sunday should feature a little rain, but after sundown it will more likely be snow or a mix lasting into Monday.  This won't be a major storm, but could disrupt travel on the Monday morning commute. In the meantime, have a great Pi Day!  As in 3.14 (today's date). Math/science joke. Enjoy.
