Another Monday and another snow storm…what a March this has been. Expect periods periods of lighter snow and flurries to continue into the afternoon. Current thinking is that we could see another inch or so across the metro on top of what we already have, making for a solid 5 to 9 inches across the region when all is said and done. There are some areas with lesser amounts, especially along the Mason Dixon line and in extreme Southern Maryland. Snow tapers by early afternoon, but it will remain cold and breezy with highs in the low to mid 30s feeling more like the teens!
Tomorrow we keep clouds around and although numbers should be a touch higher, it will still be raw. A stray sprinkle or two cannot be ruled out. By Wednesday a warm front will elevate temperature into the 50s, but still keep a fair amount of cloudiness with a shower or two not out of the question. Sunshine and milder air arrives in time for the start of Spring Thursday and will linger into Friday. Be safe out there and have a great day!
