Look for a bonanza of cherry blossoms and balmy weather this weekend!  Partly to mostly sunny skies will prevail with highs today near 75 and close to 80 on Sunday.

This Afternoon:
Mostly Sunny & Pleasant
Temperatures: 71-75
Wind: S 5-10 mph
Partly Cloudy, Seasonably Cool
Lows: 48-55
Wind: SE 5-10 mph
Sunny, Breezy, & Warmer
Highs: 76-81
Wind: S 10-15 mph/G 25

With perfect timing, Mother Nature looks to have saved her best and balmiest weather for the finale of the Cherry Blossom Festival. Comfortably cool this morning with temperatures in the 50s, today should see highs rise to near 75 with the only "rain" on the Blossom parade being rays of sunshine.  While not as warm as yesterday's 82 degree high at Reagan National - the warmest day since last October 6th when it was a sizzling 91 - today will still be above the seasonal norm of 65.  With last night's cold front reversing direction and bringing us a southerly flow tomorrow, the mercury will once again head toward 80 under mostly sunny skies.  Some clouds associated with the reversing front are possible later today, but they should dissipate by early tomorrow.

Our spring fling continues on Monday with highs expected in the mid 70s.  Thereafter, a cold front will bring in cooler readings for the week with daytime highs in the 50s and lower 60s and nighttime lows in the 30s.  Rain is likely on Tuesday, some of which could be heavy.  Until then, enjoy what promises to be a wonderful weekend.  And don't forget the hat and sunscreen!
