Finally, spring has sprung and Friday was the first time all three major D.C. area airports hit 80 degrees or better since October.
Look for a few lingering showers overnight as a cold front pushes by. Lows will range from the upper 40s to middle 50s. Clouds will gradually decrease Saturday morning and skies should go from partly to mostly sunny by afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Warmer air returns Sunday with abundant sunshine and highs approaching 80.
The warm pattern will continue into Monday with highs in the middle 70s. A stronger cold front will bring added clouds, rain and a return to much cooler temperatures on Tuesday.
