Another freeze watch in place tonight but trying to warm up into the weekend.

What a chilly start to the day today as temperatures bottomed out in the 20s to lower 30s during the overnight hours last night. And what makes it worse are the winds that we are experiencing in the morning hours-giving us wind chills in the teens and lower 20s! Brightside is that the winds will calm after the noon hour. However, still with plenty of sunshine today, expect daytime highs only to rise into the 40s to around 50 degrees! Another freeze watch is in place for areas east of the Blue Ridge Mountains during the overnight hours tonight, so be prepared for another bitterly cold morning on Thursday. Clouds increase through the daytime hours on Thursday but temperatures will move to near 60 degrees. The clouds stick on Friday and even a little spotty drizzle can’t be ruled out. Temperatures on Friday still manage to make it into the mid-50s to around 60 degrees despite the cloud cover (still running below our normal temperatures of 67 degrees). By Saturday, skies will gradually clear to sunshine as temperatures rise to the mid 60s. Once again, a sprinkle can’t be ruled out on Saturday but just a slight chance. Easter morning will be a little on the chilly side with temperatures not rising above 50 degrees until after around 9AM. Easter Sunday looks beautiful with temperatures in the lower to mid 60s and a mix of sun and clouds.
