Not too bad out there for your Thursday, but the weather will continue to get better through the weekend!

This Afternoon:
Clouds Moving In
Temperatures: 50s/60s
Wind: E 5-15 mph
Lows: Upper 30s/Lower 40s
Wind: E 5-10 mph
Mostly Cloudy
Highs: Mid to Upper 50s
Wind: NEN 5-10 mph

Isn't it just a great morning? Despite the cold temperatures this morning (not as chilly as yesterday morning), daytime highs will move into the mid to upper 50s. I am expecting clouds to roll in from the east off the ocean but if that doesn't occur and we continue to have sunshine, temperatures should have no problem moving past that 60 mark (I do believe that the Shenandoah Valley will be protected from the Blue Ridge Mountains so more sunshine forecast in that region = daytime highs in the 60s). A slight easterly breeze today will continue into the evening hours. Clouds continue to push in overnight leading to a mostly cloudy night as temperatures fall into the upper 30s/lower 40s. Unfortunately, those clouds will stick around tomorrow as temperatures struggle to get to 60. There still could be a few places of some spotty sprinkles through the afternoon tomorrow but all in all, not a bad way to end the week. By Saturday, skies will give way to sunshine through the mid-morning hours taking those temperatures to near 70 degrees! Overnight lows Saturday into Sunday will drop into the 40s so we are expecting Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday to be just a touch on the chilly side with temperatures not moving past 50 degrees until about 8am-9am. However, Sunday looks fantastic. Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Sunshine continues on Monday as temperatures top out around 70 degrees with a slight chance of rain not expected until Tuesday. A very seasonable next seven days for the region.
