Our stuck weather pattern starts to move today, bringing a nice change for the weekend. In the meantime, the warm front straddles our region with a wide range of temperatures and chances of showers.
Temperatures north of the front in the low 60s and south of the front could top 70. The big question is will it stay dry for the Nationals Home Opener today. I think so... there is a small chance of a shower leading out ahead of the main line of storms. The advancing cold front should trigger that wet weather, mainly this evening. The greatest window of opportunity for this to occur is between 5p and 10p. Skies should clear out overnight behind the front. Sunshine will be here all weekend, but it will be breezy on Saturday. Temperatures in the low to mid 60s.
As we go back to work on Monday, the clouds and rain return with highs in the upper 50s.
