Sunshine, warm breezes and temperatures above average, my kind of day.

This Afternoon:
Highs: Around 70
Wind: SW 10-15
Partly Cloudy
Lows: Low 50s
Wind: SW 10
Partly Sunny with Afternoon Showers and Isolated T-storms
Highs: Around 70
Precipitation: 60%

This is the day I have been waiting for all winter. Now, if we could just bottle it up and hit repeat.  A picture perfect afternoon for viewing the Cherry Blossoms or doing just about anything outside.  High pressure pushes off the Atlantic coast and brings in southerly breezes.

This Afternoon

A cold front in the Midwest will move into the Mid-Atlantic tomorrow.  It will bring showers and a few thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.  The front will be to our south on Saturday for a pleasant start to the weekend and then it retreats back to the north as a warm front on Sunday and shoots our temperatures into the upper 70s!  The warm streak looks like it will come to an end by the middle of next week.  Keep those Cherry Blossom pictures coming!! If you don't know where to send them, check out that blog again from Alex Liggitt on the right side of this page.
