Just when we thought we were turning the corner from winter to spring, winter makes its return.  And after this past winter, I am not surprised at all.  Temperatures overnight fell below freezing across much of the area.

It'll be another cold night with temperatures falling back to around freezing.  With freezing temperatures possible, the National Weather Service has issued a FREEZE WATCH overnight through early tomorrow morning.

After a breezy start to the day, winds will die down this afternoon.  High pressure will deliver sunshine today with cooler than average highs.  Our average this time of year is 67° and we'll still be about 10 degrees cooler than average through the end of the weekend.  As high pressure slides east, an easterly wind will develop and that will bring added clouds, keeping temperatures down.  Some drizzle is possible Friday, with that marine layer present, but overall it will be a dry end to the week.  Just in time for Easter weekend, temperatures climb back to average and sunshine returns.
