A delightful weekend is on tap with mostly sunny skies, low humidity, and temperatures in the upper 70s both today and tomorrow

This Afternoon:
Mostly Sunny, Pleasant
Highs: 76-80
Wind: N 10-15/G 20 mph
Partly Cloudy, Mild
Lows: 53-59
Wind: NE 5-10 mph
Mostly Sunny & Comfortable
Highs: 75-80
Wind: E 5-10 mph

With perfect timing, Mother Nature has yet again saved her best weather for the weekend!  Just like last Saturday and Sunday, both today and tomorrow should be exquisite days with plenty of sunshine, low humidity, and comfortably warm temperatures. With high pressure building in from the northeast, look for a rather breezy start to the weekend with winds gusting from the north to 20 mph.  But with dew points in the 40s and low 50s and ample sunshine, it will be a pleasant day to be outdoors.  And while the pollen count will be very high for grasses and trees like walnut and mulberry and the UV index is in the high range, May could not be ending on a nicer note.  Highs today should reach the upper 70s with nearly the same readings on Sunday.  High pressure will  extend through Sunday with winds gradually shifting to the southeast by day's end.

NOTE: With the recent drenching rains, May will go into the record books as the fourth consecutive month of above average precipitation.  The 1.1 inch surplus as recorded at Reagan National joins April's 3.4" above average tally, March's 0.78", and February's 1.4."  All of which adds up to a 6.5" bonus for the year.  Enjoy this DRY weekend!
