Showers will continue overnight as temperatures fall to the 50s. Clouds will begin to thin Tuesday and temperatures will rebound to near 70 degrees.
A slow moving front will drift northward Wednesday bringing a chance for a few passing showers and even a rumble of thunder. Highs will be near 70 once again, however it will start to feel a bit more humid. With the warm sector over the mid-Atlantic Thursday and Friday, highs will be well into the 80s - quite possibly the hottest temperatures we have seen all year.
