A nice stretch of drier weather and seasonable temperatures.

This Afternoon:
Partly Cloudy
Highs: Around 70
Wind: W 6-12
Fair Skies
Lows: Near 50
Wind: NW 6-8
Partly Sunny, stray shower possible
Highs: Low to Mid 70s
Precipitation: 15%

We've waited all week for it, and now the beautiful weather has arrived.  Chances of rain are low through Monday and we'll have plenty of time to mow the lawn and clean up from any mess from the flooding.  More sunshine than clouds today and highs reach upper 60s to lower 70s.  A few disturbances will swing through this weekend, but it will generally be dry, comfortable and breezy.  The first moves through Saturday possibly bringing a stray shower Saturday afternoon, but the second cold front should hold off until Sunday evening.  Chances are still only about 10 percent that you'll see a few sprinkles.  So no need to adjust your plans - and if you do not have any, you should consider heading out to Winchester for the 87th Annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival. Our own Lauryn Ricketts is a celebrity guest for her hometown festival.

Temperatures will start off a tad cooler behind the front on Monday and then rain is back Monday night and Tuesday. A sneak peek for late next week... a big warm-up is coming. Temps in the 80s are possible by Thursday.
