What a spectacular Mother’s Day it was with sunshine and low humidity. The high pressure moving off the coast means a real summer like feeling with warm and humid air being pumped back into the region for the next two days! It will be a toasty afternoon with highs well into the 80s. Watching a complex of showers and storms in the mid-west that will throw some clouds our way midday and maybe even an afternoon shower or storm, but it doesn't look widespread. Tomorrow will be similar with highs tickling the 90º mark! Thereafter, a succession of cold fronts will drop temperatures into the upper 70s on Wednesday and Thursday. The weather will be mostly cloudy skies and the threat of showers and thunderstorms each day. Flooding could become a concern by late week. Until then, slather on the SPF and enjoy the summer preview!
