Yesterday, we peaked at 92º downtown... the first 90º day of the year! Patchy morning fog and an overall cloudy start today, as winds overnight shifted easterly.
Expect clouds to eventually break for some sunshine today with afternoon temperatures in the upper 70s. The threat of afternoon/evening showers and storms persist, but will be focused mainly west of D.C. By Friday, more widespread gulf moisture slides in with copious amounts of rain possible. There could even be some isolated flooding for the end of the workweek. The weekend brings cooler, drier air with seasonable highs in the low to mid 70s and only the slightest chance of a passing sprinkle on Saturday! Have a great day!
