Dress comfortably Tuesday, as it will definitely be the hottest and most uncomfortable day of the week. Highs will jump to the upper 80s and some may even crack 90 degrees. Heat index readings won’t make it any better, with feels like temperatures in the lower to middle 90s. Although chances are limited, showers and thunderstorms will dot the radar; so grab an umbrella to be on the safe side.
A cold front arrives Wednesday bringing partly cloudy skies and a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 70s. This same system will stick around for the remainder of the work and school week bringing the potential for showers and thunderstorms – periods of heavy rain can’t be ruled out.
Ending on a positive note – the upcoming weekend looks dry and sunny.
