Cool morning, leads to warm and dry afternoon.

This Afternoon:
Mostly Sunny
Highs: Low 70s
Wind: NW 3-7
Mainly Clear
Lows: Low 50s
Wind: W 5
Morning Sun, a Few High Clouds PM
Highs: Mid 70s
Wind: W 4-8

High pressure is large and in charge today bringing a dry air mass along with cooler than average temperatures to the region.  Ample sunshine will be featured all day long and into Tuesday morning.

This Afternoon

The high will slowly shift to our east on Tuesday and allow a few high thin clouds to enter our sky.  By Tuesday evening, a warm front associated with a storm system in the Midwest will arrive here and trigger a few overnight showers or storms.  The trailing cold front will bring more chances of wet weather Wednesday afternoon and evening.  Then the forces in the upper atmosphere take over and a trough of low pressure will keep us cooler than average again late week and into the holiday weekend. Partly cloudy skies can be expected, but can't rule out a stray shower just yet on Friday or Saturday. Hardly worth the mention.
