Ongoing heavy rain continues through the morning with the potential for a cumulative with storm totals pushing 4+ inches in spots.
Flood Alerts are are posted for the entire region. Remember to never drive or walk on flooded surface…“Turn around and don’t drown” is our weather mantra. Showers taper later this morning with some partial clearing this afternoon although a shower or two this afternoon cannot be ruled out. Temperatures dropped this AM, but should rebound somewhat later today. The weekend brings cooler, drier weather with low humidity. Afternoon highs will peak near 70º daily with overnight lows in the upper 40s and low 50s. This cooler than average pattern carries into next week. Have a great weekend!
