A warm front lifting through the area brings a tricky forecast today.

This Afternoon:
Mix of Sun and Clouds
Highs: Low 80s
Wind: SW 5
Tonight:
Mostly Cloudy
Lows: Low 60s
Wind: E 4-8
Friday:
Partly Sunny, Stray Shower
Highs: Low 80s
Wind: S 3-6

A warm front is lifting through the region today, but I don't think it will clear all the way out.  Meaning, our temperatures will range quite a bit today with about a ten degree difference between Maryland and Northern Virginia. It's a potentially bustable forecast as I like to call it....  this map of forecast high temperatures today shows our best estimate for that variation.

Afternoon High Temperatures

A few showers will be possible late today, mainly East of I-95. Most of us will have a dry afternoon and night.  The next best chance of rain comes on Friday night and Saturday morning. I have taken showers out of the forecast for now on Sunday, so great news for outdoor plans on Mother's Day.  Summer like conditions continue into next week with highs in the 80s.
