A weak system has brought in east winds, developed low altitude clouds, brought a few light showers, and has kept the entire region very cool to begin summer. This system will move out into the Atlantic on Sunday switching our winds to the southeast and allowing the clouds to break and temperatures to rise into the lower to mid 80s! Next week will much more like summer. Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 80s, whit humidity, showers and thunderstorms creeping back into the forecast by Tuesday. Wednesday appears to be the next likeliest round of storms for everyone as a cold front moves into the area, but the front is expected to break apart as it moves through so we won't get any cooler but keep the typical summer time heat and humidity around to finish the week on Thursday and Friday.
