Temperatures and humidity should be held in check the next few days into the weekend as winds shift to easterly tomorrow into the weekend.

Partly Cloudy and Warm
Lows: Upper 60s to Low 70s
Wind: N 4-8 m.p.h.
Partly Cloudy, Stray T-Shower
Highs: Mid 80s
Precipitation: 30%
Morning Clouds, Afternoon Sunshine
Highs: Mid 80s
Wind: E 5-10 m.p.h.

Northerly winds during the day created partly cloudy skies and delivered slightly less humid air to the region Skies will be partly cloudy tonight and tomorrow. As high pressure moves to the east of our area tomorrow afternoon, an isolated shower or thunderstorm will be possible.

Looking ahead to the weekend…Skies will be partly cloudy and temperatures will reach the middle 80s, both afternoons. Rain-wise.. it is looking as though we may get through the weekend without any rain over the majority of the region. If any showers or isolated thunderstorms do develop, I think they would be over the mountains well to the northwest of the area. Daily chances of showers and thunderstorms will increase on Monday as temperatures and dew points begin to rise once again.
