After flooding rains this morning, a Flash Flood Watch remains through tonight with the threat of more rain.

Tonight:
Lingering T-Showers, Muggy
Lows: 60s to Low 70s
Wind: S 2-5 m.p.h.
Wednesday:
Partly Sunny, PM T-Storms, Possibly Severe
Highs: Upper 80s
Wind: SE 6-12 m.p.h.
Thursday:
Partly Sunny, Scattered T-Storms
Highs: Upper 80s
Wind: S 4-8 m.p.h.

An upper-level weather disturbance will move through our region tonight setting the stage for more scattered showers and thunderstorms. Slow-moving areas of heavy rain are possible and thus this Flash Flood Watch posted for a large part of our region. With very warm and very humid air well entrenched across the area, more showers and thunderstorms will be possible for the next few days. First from an elongated area of low pressure heading this way and then a cold front following suit on Friday.

Thunderstorms will become heavier and more widespread tomorrow. In fact, severe thunderstorms will be possible tomorrow afternoon and evening. And the probability of more thunderstorms will remain high through Thursday and Friday. There is some good weather news for the weekend. Right now, it appears drier and slightly cooler air will be in place for Saturday and Sunday. Will have better confidence in the improving weekend outlook over the next 24 hours or so.
