Showers and thunderstorms will continue to be possible each day through Friday.

Tonight:
Partly Cloudy, Patchy Fog
Lows: 60s to Near 70
Wind: Light South
Tuesday:
Partly Sunny, PM T-Showers
Highs: Mid to Upper 80s
Wind: S 5 m.p.h.
Wednesday:
Partly Sunny, PM T-Storms Likely
Highs: Mid to Upper 80s
Wind: SW 5-10 m.p.h.

Isolated showers continue to develop across the area…especially west of Washington in response to a weak trough of low pressure slowly moving eastward from the mountains. Over the next few days, a more significant trough of low pressure will be situated across the region. This combined with daytime heating and increasing upper level winds will slowly increase the daily chances of showers and thunderstorms. This will be especially apparent on Wednesday and Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms will linger into Friday before slightly drier and more stable air returns to the region.
