Thunderstorms will develop later Wednesday and some will have the potential to become severe.

Wednesday:
Partly Cloudy and Warm, Storms after Sunset
Highs: Mid 80s
Wind: W 5-10 m.p.h.
Thursday:
Lingering Morning Showers, Partly Cloudy Afternoon
Highs: Low 80s
Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.

Expect partly cloudy skies overnight with mild lows in the 60s. Tomorrow will be partly cloudy and warm with highs in the middle 80s. A potent area of low pressure will swing through the region Wednesday night into Thursday morning, bringing with it showers and thunderstorms, possibly severe. Showers may linger into Thursday morning before some afternoon clearing.

Friday and Saturday will be less humid with highs in the low to mid 80s under mostly sunny skies.
