The summer-time stickiness has arrived and it's here to stay.  In fact, the entire week ahead will be warm and muggy with chances for showers and storms each and every day.  Overnight a cold front will approach the area and will trigger showers and storms.  The front will become stationary overhead tomorrow and a few storms could develop along the boundary.  A slow moving upper level system, over the Midwest, will keep us under this very unstable airmass.  You'll definitely feel the moisture in the air.  Even overnight temperatures will only fall into the upper 60s most nights, so we won't feel much relief from the heat and humidity.  As of right now, we should clear out for the weekend ahead.  Until then, welcome to mid June in D.C.   Keep the umbrella handy and hope the A.C. is working.
