Today marks the first day of meteorological summer and the start of the Atlantic hurricane season. Read more in our latest blog. And what a picture perfect start to the month and season. Changes are on the horizon with hot and muggy weather returning early this week.
Monday will be a transition day. Highs will be a bit warmer, but the humidity should still be relatively comfortable. Mother Nature turns up the heat Tuesday, as highs soar to around 90 degrees. A cold front will approach from the NW and will trigger strong, to possibly severe, storms late Tuesday. The front will become stationary just to our south through the remainder of the week and will keep our weather rather unstable. Temperatures will remain, above average, in the mid to upper 80s through Friday with scattered chances for showers and thunderstorms.
