Rain and storms will be commonplace this afternoon. Several inches of rain have fallen this week (1-3" on average) and any additional downpours will cause some flooding today. A flash flood watch is in effect from noon today through this evening for the potential of 1-2" more that will lead to water covered roads and rising smaller streams and creeks.

Flash Flood Watch

An upper-level low will impact us today and tomorrow still with storms generally tracking from the south to the north. On Friday we will be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A cold front now in the Midwest will finally sweep away the moisture and usher in drier air for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday both look great with highs in the low to mid 80s.  We appreciate your reports, so keep them coming!  Tweet us your photos and/or post on the Stormwatch7 Facebook page.
