High pressure will continue to filter into the region behind yesterday's cold front, leading to beautiful conditions Thursday.

Mainly Clear and Cool
Lows: 55-65
Wind: NNW 5 m.p.h.
Mostly Sunny
Highs: Low to Mid 80s
Wind: NW 5-10 m.p.h.
A Few Clouds
Highs: Mid 80s
Wind: N 4-8 m.p.h.

A large area of high pressure from southern Canada to Missouri will continue to move eastward and provide more, beautiful weather across the region. Despite considerable high cloudiness today, plenty of sunshine has been shining through the cloud cover. Temperatures and humidity levels are totally comfortable…in fact, this cool, dry air is something seldom seen in this area during the middle of July.

Sunny and pleasant conditions will continue tomorrow and Friday. Over the weekend, the high pressure system will move off the East Coast. This will turn the winds to a more southerly direction and that will increase relative humidity levels. But it will not bring in excessive heat. The chance of any rain across the area will be late on Sunday afternoon and we are only forecasting a 30% chance, at that.
