Warming things up again today with temperatures moving into the mid to upper 80s. Humidity will stick around today as well as the cloud cover with only a few peeks of sunshine here and there. There will be another chance of some very isolated afternoon showers and storms rolling through the region. By tomorrow, clouds will increase ahead of a frontal system. A very hot day in store despite the cloud cover with temperatures rising into the lower to mid 90s and the heat index moving to 95+. Looking at late afternoon to early evening showers and storms ahead of the frontal system. This threat of rain will lead into the overnight hours too. Some of these storms could be strong to severe. By Thursday, the frontal system will move through the area with lingering storms chances through the first part of the day, especially south. There should be some clearing in the afternoon with dropping humidity level. Temperatures are up in the air and will really depend on how quickly the front should clear the area. Right now, temperatures will top out in the mid 80s but we may have to adjust that daytime high as we get closer to Thursday. High pressure will build in towards the end of the week giving us sunshine on Friday and Saturday before rain chances return Saturday night into Sunday.
