High pressure anchored off shore has created another warm and humid day with only a few isolated showers and thunderstorms. Skies will remain partly cloudy tonight and it will be warm and muggy with mostly areas remaining above the 70 degrees mark.
Tomorrow will be warmer and a bit more humid. Highs will climb into the lower 90s in many locations. Thunderstorms will become a little more numerous late tomorrow afternoon and evening. As a cold front approaches the area tomorrow evening and through mid-day on Thursday, more showers and thunderstorms will be possible. Drier air will begin returning to the area late Thursday. By Friday, skies will be sunny, the air will be drier and the weather will be downright pleasant.
