Washington D.C. Forecast: Heat and Humidity Return this Week

Warmer temperatures and daily rain chances return this week.

Temperatures: Upper 60s to Lower 70s

Partly Sunny, Very Warm & Humid, Stray PM Storm
Temperatures: Near 90°
Wind: S 5-10

Daily chances of showers and storms start this week and the humidity is back in full force! Temperatures today will top out in the mid to upper 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. Only a slight chance of showers and storms floating around this afternoon. Overnight tonight, temperatures will fall into the lower 70s. Back into the upper 80s tomorrow, Tuesday will feature another day with just a slight chance of isolated showers and storms. Expect Wednesday to be the warmest day of this work week as temperatures push into the lower 90s and with heat indicies nearing 100! By Thursday, we will be awaiting a cold front to make a run at us giving us a chance for severe weather across the region Thursday afternoon. A few showers may linger early on Friday but we will eventually clear out as high pressure builds into the region giving us sunshine to start the weekend.
