Continued comfortable with some increasing afternoon clouds…weekend remains dry!

Friday:
Sun Gives Way to Increasing PM Clouds, Pleasant
Highs: Low to Mid 80s
Wind: NE 5-10mph
Saturday:
More Clouds than Sun, Comfortably Cool
Highs: Around 80°
Precipitation: 30% Chance Mtn. Shower
Sunday:
Intervals of Clouds and Sun, A Touch Humid
Highs: Low 80s
Precipitation: 30% Chance Mtn. Shower

Climatologically we are in the warmest period of the year, but as you step outside this morning you will notice it feels more like September than July! Expect another comfortable day but clouds will increase through the afternoon; however we should remain dry east of the Blue Ridge. Tomorrow brings more of an easterly wind flow which translates into more clouds than sun and this may hold temperatures back near 80° if not a touch above. Temperatures will climb a bit more Sunday with partly sunny skies. Other than some mountain storms the region remains dry throughout the weekend. Heat and humidity return next with the likelihood of daily afternoon showers and storms. Have a great day!
