One more stormy afternoon before a welcome reprieve…

Today:
Stray AM Shower, Limited Sun, Very Warm & Muggy, Strong PM Storms
Highs: 85°-90°
Precipitation: 70% Chance
Overnight:
Storms Tapering Off, Less Humid
Lows: 62º-70º
Wind: NW 5-10 mph
Tomorrow:
Early Shower East, Becoming Mostly Sunny, Spectacular
Highs: 79°-85°
Wind: NW 10 mph

A potent cold front will continue its march toward the metro region today before clearing the area tonight. It will once again be very warm and humid with more storms likely as the front approaches from the west and northwest. We have an elevated risk for severe weather this afternoon with damaging winds and torrential downpours likely. By tomorrow, any lingering morning clouds should give way to sunshine and to a cool, dry area of high pressure – a nice change for here in mid-July. This should provide a comfortable stretch of summer day into the end of the work-week. Have a great day!
