Washington, D.C. weather forecast: Heat returns Wednesday, relief next week

Changes are on the way – less humid tomorrow, but still hot for this time of year.

Overnight:

Lows: 68°-76°
Wind: Northwest 4-8 mph
Wednesday:
Partly Cloudy and Hot
Highs: near 90°
Wind: Southeast 3-8 mph
Thursday:
Partly Cloudy
Highs: near 90°
Wind: Southeast 3-8 mph

Strong storms have come to an end, however a few showers may linger into the overnight hours. Lows will stay on the mild side, with temperatures falling to the upper 60s and middle 70s.

Wednesday and Thursday will be dry, but hot. Afternoon temperatures will rebound to near 90 degrees. The heat will continue through Friday and Saturday with some relief by the end of the weekend.
