    I find it appalling that someone would be so excited over a very dangerous storm. That same storm that could potentially "bushwhack" my home and livelihood. These hurricanes are serious. Trust me we do not anticipate the arrival eagerly. If your home and your family were threatened, your tone writing this article would be vastly different.

    this dude is sooo getting off on this storm, maybe we should ship his ass to the bahamas for a live coverage feed so we can watch him get leveled by a palm tree, obviously he doesnt live in florida or the carolinas.

    I completely agree with you. Why such excitement over something that can be so catastrophic. I live in South Florida and no one here is eagerly waiting on Irenes arrival.

    I didn't see any "excitement of impeding doom" in the writing of the article. People need to settle down.

    I also found the tone insensitive and unprofessional. There is no humor in a potential hurricane strike.
